Who we are
THINQ (THINQ Design) is a business-solutions company in Fort Worth, Texas. If you have a question about anything on this page, email bo@thinqdifferent.com. A person reads it.
What we collect, and when
When you fill in a form. The contact form, the free AI Visibility Scan report, the free “what the assistants say about you” report, and the Diagnostic booking each ask for what they need to do the job: your name, email, phone, business name, website, and your answers to the questions on the form. We keep that so we can reply, send you what you asked for, and — if you book a Diagnostic — run it.
When you run the scan. The AI Visibility Scan fetches the website address you type in, the way a search crawler would, and shows you the result on screen. Nothing is stored unless you ask for the report by email, in which case we keep the address you scanned, the result, and your email together.
When you pay. Payment for the Diagnostic is taken by Stripe on Stripe’s own checkout page. We never see or store your card number. Stripe tells us that you paid, how much, and the email you used.
When you just visit. Like most sites, we use Google Analytics and Cloudflare Web Analytics to see which pages get read and where visitors come from. That involves cookies and an anonymised view of your browser and rough location. It doesn’t tell us who you are.
Spam protection. Our forms use spam-filtering services (Cloudflare Turnstile and Akismet). They may see your IP address and the text you submit, for that purpose only.
What we do with it
We use what you give us to do the thing you asked for, to follow up about it, and to keep in touch about work we think is genuinely relevant to you. If we email you something you didn’t ask for and you don’t want it, reply and say so; that’s the end of it.
We don’t sell your information. We don’t rent lists. We don’t share it with anyone except the services that run our systems, listed below, and then only as much as they need to do their part.
Where it lives
Your information is stored in systems we run ourselves: our website platform (THINQ Site) and our own customer system (THINQ CRM). Those run on Render and Railway, with Cloudflare in front for DNS, security and file storage. Email is sent through Resend. Payments go through Stripe. Analytics through Google and Cloudflare. Each of those has its own privacy policy for the part it handles.
Google sign-in on our own tools
Some of our internal tools use Google sign-in so that our own team can log in with a THINQ Google account. Signing in shares only the basic profile Google provides for that purpose — name, email address and profile picture — and nothing else from that account. Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. These tools are for THINQ staff; we don’t offer Google sign-in to customers.
How long we keep it
While there’s a live conversation or a working relationship, and for a reasonable time afterwards in case it picks up again. Analytics data is kept on the default schedules of the services above. If you ask us to delete what we hold about you, we do, unless something we’re legally required to keep — an invoice, for instance — says otherwise.
Your choices
Email bo@thinqdifferent.com to see what we have about you, correct it, or have it deleted. Every email we send that isn’t a direct reply to you has a way to stop receiving them. You can decline analytics cookies in your browser and the site works exactly the same.
Changes
If this page changes in a way that matters, the effective date at the top changes with it. We won’t quietly widen what we collect.
