Covenant Classical School’s mission is to train our students to live and think according to a biblical, Christ-centered worldview. We accomplish this by partnering with parents to provide a rigorous, classical education that instills a lifelong love of learning.
Covenant approached THINQ to devise a site that reflected the acknowledgement of the past with a refined look at the current and future; trying to maintain a classical look without columns, roman architecture and the typical hallmarks of classical education. We built a system based on WordPress as the CMS with a custom skin and custom plugins that fit the bill. We integrated the existing google calendar to lessen the work in transition and still keep the job as one set of data entry. We built a system for individual blogs for faculty for potential future use and utilized javascript to implement a navigation structure that kept any and all pages no more than two clicks away.
